Arrangements for Alison LePage Friday evening at St. Paul’s
Alison Reed LePage, born Feb. 18, 1949, in New Britain, to the late Bertha Palin Reed and Harold M. Reed, passed away at age 69 on Sept. 28, 2018, in Torrington.
She graduated from Torrington High School in 1968, and St. Joseph College in Connecticut in 1999 with a bachelor of science. She was a registered dietitian/nutritionist in the skilled nursing facilities industry until retiring in 2011.
Alison was married to the late Arthur LePage. She was also preceded in death by her father, Harold M. Reed, her stepmother, Miriam Reed, and stepbrothers Roy and George Bernard. Alison is survived by her son, Howard J. Nodine Jr. (Ruth); her daughter, Cindy Dillard (Troy); two sisters, Tracy Molitor and Katherine Slink; three stepsisters, Sylvia Cribbin, Celina Foster and Almira Urda; six grandchildren, Zoe Hokansson, Lea Hokansson and Noah Hokansson, Conor Bartholomew, Peter Gourousis and Maher Alsakkaf; and three great-granddaughters, Alina Hokannsson, and Moserat and Alison Nodine.
Alison was an avid gardener and had many hobbies such as crafting and country dancing. She served on the altar guild at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church for many years.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a celebration of life, officiated by The Reverend Dr. G. Scott Cady, on Friday, 7 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 837 Charles St., Torrington. A reception will follow the service in the church’s fellowship hall.
