Bible Study on Tuesday 23rd cancelled, Holy Week and a missing serving dish

This week’s events…No Tuesday Bible Study; Thursday, April 18 is Maundy Thursday, the day we commemorate the Last Supper of Jesus before his arrest. Our worship that evening will be at 7pm. It will include communion, an opportunity for foot washing (entirely optional, but a moving gesture of mutual, humble care), and the stripping of the altar to symbolize the stripping of Jesus during his interrogation. On Good Friday, April 19, the day of Jesus’ crucifixion, we gather again at 7pm. The service is quiet and somber. It includes the reading of the Passion according to St. John, special prayers, and an opportunity for reflecting on the cross and its meaning. On Saturday, April 20, anyone interested can join us at 2pm at Lourdes of Litchfield for Stations of the Cross. On Easter Sunday, April 21, we will offer a Sunrise Service at 6:30am, a pancake breakfast by our youth, and a festive Eucharist at 10am. All are welcome and encouraged to join us.
