Special Presentation this Sunday after service! Also Scholarship Sunday has been postponed a week!
Please join us after worship in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, August 4th for a presentation on the Creative Living Community of CT. Cindy Hall, an ELCA Deacon, and Lynn Gustafson have been working for years to develop a farmstead community for adults living with autism and similar issues. Come learn about this innovative project, and how it might have an impact on some of our members or families. Here is a link to their website if you would like to get familiar with their mission.

Also, due to a baptism, it was decided to move Scholarship Sunday to August 11th. See you then!
A busy weekend at St. Paul’s!
- Car show is scheduled for Saturday afternoon from 4 to 8 pm. Following the Farmer’s Market no one should park in our church parking lot. Cars going on exhibit will begin coming in by mid afternoon. Entry to the car show is free for spectators and a $10 entry for each show car. The youth will have the food to sell-hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, BriCin’s fried dough pizza, and lots of cold beverages to keep you hydrated. There will be trophy awards, a 50/50 drawing, as well as a drawing of Prizes that have been donated. Please come and support St. Paul’s.
- Beginning at 9am on Sunday we will gather in the fellowship hall for a breakfast prepared by fellowship committee chief cooks! Breakfast casseroles, egg dishes, French Toast casserole, etc. The breakfast is free and open to all members as we honor Elizabeth Goehring, our seminary student who is completing her time with us at St. Paul’s. Elizabeth jumped right in to her experience by meeting folks, participating in many actual services-preaching 3 times, lectoring, communion assisting, visiting SS classrooms, etc. Congregants have been given opportunity for contributing to a monetary gift for Elizabeth. That will be presented before breakfast. Obviously with a big breakfast before church there will no coffee hour following church.
- A Baby picture(s)! The box should be full by now but there is still plenty of room for photos of you and your family. Please bring a picture(s) this Sunday! St. Paul’s Women will hostess a “mock Baby shower” after church on Sunday, August 18th that is free and open to all members and friends. It is meant to be a fun celebration of each of us. Please plan to stay and celebrate!
